The article though brings out certain issues, the true scenario is exaggerated probably for the readability with some fantasies. To my knowledge most of the surgical teams do not allow even in India or elsewhere without any supervision. One should understand irrespective of general or private ward patient no surgeon would like his patient to suffer - that is probably not udnerstood well by the physicians so easily unless they are interventionist. - Prof M Nachiappan, Cardio thoracic surgeon.
